Hi! I’m Madeleine. I am the owner and head baker of Mad Cake & Company. 

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021 with a degree in illustration, I began working as a graphic designer. With the pandemic still in full swing, I spent most nights after work leaning into my other love, baking. 

Workshopping recipes and testing them on friends and family became my favorite pastime. I baked cookies, hand pies, sweet breads, you name it! But my favorite was always cakes. I began selling them here and there, hoping one day I could take this passion full-time.

After leaving my job as a graphic designer, I decided to create my dream job- One that combined my two loves, baking and art. Thus, Mad Cake was born! 

I feel so lucky that I am able to follow this dream back in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Thank you so much to all of my wonderful clients for supporting me along the way!
